Create Linkset Pairing restriction in module using DXL

Hi

I want to write some DXL that can create linkset pairing restrictions in some formal modules as well as set the "Only allow outgoing links as specified in the above list" checkbox. Does anyone know how to do this?

I know about string addLinkModuleDescriptor(Folder f,
string s,
string t,
bool o,
string name,
string desc)

Is this out you do it? Why does the function take a folder and not a module?

That is the way you do it.

The "link module descriptors" are stored in the folders (folder containing the source module), not in modules.

Peter,

Baselines Inc. has a great tool on their website that does just that
http://www.baselinesinc.com/?page_id=11&filerepoaction=showpost&filepost_id=9

I have modified their script a bit to meet my needs:
  • option to set "Only allow outgoing links..."
  • make DB more compact
  • restrict to project managers
...

just let me know if you're interested.
